Just like MatPat's channel, only I theorize games instead. I try my best to prove my point. MAJOR points to matpat for inspiring me.

Okay, so, people know about Kokiri, right? Well in case you don’t Kokiri are the Korok from any Zelda game that has them. Well in one specific game, Ocaraina of Time, the Kokiri are introduced. Kokiri are the children of the forest, AKA lost woods. They are guided by their own fairies, however Link doesn’t have one. So now that I’ve explained Kokiri, let me tell you about Korok. Koroks, also known as the children of the forest, are little creatures. They basically look like tiny trees. These specific species in the Zelda franchise give you Korok seed. Okay, now to the juicy stuff. Since Link was once known as a Kokiri, it only makes sense for him to still be one right? Well, he is known in BOTW (breath of the wild) to be the Hyrulean Champion. So… heres my question, what happened? Between the period of when Link was a Kokiri child of the forest, guided by navi, now he’s Champion amongst the swordmen of Hyrule? Well here’s my theory. So if you didn’t already know, the Kokiri race is gone. They evolved into the Korok. But, why isn’t Link one of the Korok? Well since they evolved, Link became more Hyrulean. But… what was Nintendo thinking? I guess the only answer is that Link and the Kokiri evolved differently, and that’s how they got to where we are now. But don’t forget Saria, she’s one of the Seven Sages, and still a Kokiri. So that’s it! Link is Hyrulean, not a Korok.
